Add OAuth to existing API

  1. Click All APIs.
  2. Click Climbing Weather API.
  3. Click Security Definitions.
  4. Click + to create a new security definition.
  5. Select OAuth.
  6. In the Name field, enter Oauther. Select Password for the Flow. Set the Token URL to the URL that you used for cURL above. For example, enter:
    https://api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com/myorg-myspace/sb/oauther/oauth2/token
  7. Click + to create a scope.
  8. In the Name field, enter weather.
  9. Click the Save icon.
  10. Scroll down to the Security section. Select the new Oauther check box to add OAuth protection to the API. Selecting this check box causes another check box labeled weather to appear.
  11. Click the Save icon.
  12. Click Menu icon > Drafts.
  13. Click the Climbing Weather API product.
  14. Click the Publish icon.
  15. Click Sandbox.
  16. Click the Menu icon > Dashboard.
  17. Click Sandbox.
  18. Click the ellipses for Climbing Weather API.
  19. Click Publish.
  20. Click Publish in the Edit visibility dialog.
