Methods for debugging applications in IBM Bluemix

You can use several methods to debug applications in IBM Bluemix, for example:

  • Use the Bluemix Cloud Foundry application logs available through the dashboard of streaming through the Bluemix or Cloud Foundry CLI
  • Use the Eclipse tools for Bluemix to incrementally publish and interactively debug Java applications running on Bluemix
  • Use the Live Edit features of the Continuous Delivery Web Editor to incrementally publish and interactively debug Node.js applications running on Bluemix
  • Enable Bluemix App Management utilities that allow you to configure proxy, devconsole, debug, shell, inspector and trace capabilities for Java and Node.js runtimes
