Prerequisites

  • Understanding Bill Date vs. Due Date logic.
  • Batch Processing: The heart of BillingCenter testing.
  • Time Travel: How to simulate the passage of time in a test environment.
  • Validating Invoice generation (Charges, Installments, Taxes).

Lab: Advancing the system clock, running the Invoice batch process, and verifying the generated invoice UI and PDF.

  • Suspense Payments: Testing unidentified funds and allocation logic.
  • Payment Reversals and NSFs (Non-Sufficient Funds).

  • The Delinquency Lifecycle: Past Due -> Dunning -> Cancellation.
